As you may have already read, fake profiles are a trick used by dating sites to get started. if a site has no members, no one is likely to join it. Although fake profiles are not limited to sex dating sites it is sex dating and adult contact sites who use them the most. So, how are fake members added to these sites?. In the early days, the admin would sit for hours, days even, creating bogus members and writing fake profiles. Many of these would have 'no photo', as getting people to give you their photos (especially risqué photos) isn't easy. When a few hundred profiles have been entered, the site can go live, the admin then endeavors to position his site prominently on the web and hopes 'real people' will join. Having registered on the site they need to give you a reason to sign up and part with some money. You may have guessed the next bit? not wanting the new member to get lonely, the site admin logs in as one or more of the bogus members and sends them some messages. Of course to read them, the 'real' member has to subscribe. There you have the basis of the how these sites operate. Want to know more..read on!.
There are lots of flashy sites promoting sex dating, marital affairs, casual sex & flings etc, and they all seem to have hundreds or thousands of members, with lots of naughty photos and enticing profiles. The photos often show members, semi-naked, posing suggestively. The quality of the photos vary, some of the people are very attractive and some are ordinary. The photos usually look like personal snaps rather than professional images, often taken facing a mirror. So that means they're real people!..doesn't it?...Well do you know what? have you ever heard of 'photo rating' websites?. Google it sometime. Basically, these sites, (there are quite a few) allow people to post risqué photos of themselves, so that others can vote on how sexy or fit they are. This type of site allows members to chat online, exchange messages and participate in online competitions & games etc. Like most websites you must agree to their 'Terms & Conditions'. Heres where it gets interesting. Reading the terms of just a few of these sites makes it clear that by accepting, you grant them royalty free rights, to use and publish your photos and other content, for whatever purpose they see fit. This means that they can sell or distribute members photos to other websites. It is certainly the case that many of these photos end up on sex dating websites, but having a bunch of fake profiles is not the end of the story. Any guy who has been duped into subscribing to the site is not going to keep logging in, nor will he renew his subscription if no one is writing to him. Do you get the feeling there's a way around that?.. you'd be right, they use generated messages and affiliates to keep your interest.
